Vatikan, Biblioteca Apostolica Vaticana, Pal. lat. 243

Ferrandus Carthaginiensis (Fasz. I); Einhardus (Fasz. II); Chronikalisch-paränetisch-liturgische Sammelhandschrift (Fasz. III)

The codex consists of three originally independent parts: Fascicle I (foll. 1-32) was written in the 2nd half of the 9th century presumably in (North) East France, fascicle II (foll. 33-48) also in the 2nd half of the 9th century in the vicinity of St. Amand, and fascicle III (foll. 49-66) around 900 to mid-10th century in (the vicinity [?] of) Lorsch or in France (presumably Reims).
All three fascicles were in the possession of the library of Lorsch in the late medieval period.
