Paenitentialia

The manuscripts is composed of two originally independent parts: Fascicle I (foll. 1-4: Discipulus Umbrensium etc.) was compiled in the first half of the 9th century, possibly in Lorsch. Fascicle II (foll. 5-13: Paenitentiale Egberti) was presumably written on German-Anglo Saxon territory or in England, around 800.
Both fascicles were held in the monastic library of Lorsch.
