The Lorsch fragment serves as a cover for the print edition of “Newen Albertus Magnus” by Walther Hermann Ryff written in the 16th century (Frankfurt/M.: Weigand Han, o.J.; vgl. VD16 A 1434).
It contains the end of cap. 15 (De s. Senoch abbate) and the beginning of cap. 16 (De s. Venantio abate) from the Liber viate partum by Gregory of Tours. The present inside was originally the front side, the present outside was originally the reverse side of the fragment folio.
