The manuscript consists of two originally independent parts as well as fragments: the latter (foll. A-D: Liber quaestionum in evangeliis) were compiled around 800 possibly in Ireland. Fascicle I (foll. 1-85: Florus Lugdunensis, Adversus Iohannem Scotum etc.) was written in the 2nd half of the 9th century. Its place of origin is unknown.
