St. Gallen, Stiftsbibliothek, Cod. 187

Iulianus Pomerius; (Ps.-)Prosper Aquitanus

Zusammengesetzte Handschrift

Lorsch, 1. Hälfte 9. Jh. (Fasz. II)

The codex consists of at two or three originally independent parts: Fascicle I (p. 1-163) and fascicle III (p. 305-320) do not derive from Lorsch. They were presumably both written in St. Gall (or Reichenau ?), fascicle I probably in the 2nd half of the 9th century, fascicle III around the mid-9th century. The Lorsch fascicle II (p. 164-304) was presumably already held in the monastic library of St. Gall in the 3rd quarter of the 9th century.
A digital reproduction of the manuscript can also be found at e-codices.
