Terms of Use

For the use of the digital images from the Staatsarchiv Basel-Stadt the following terms apply:

1. This work may solely be used for academic or private, non-commercial purposes.
2. Any form of publication of the digital reproductions, also parts of them, is only permitted with the prior authorization of the Staatsarchiv Basel-Stadt. Contact form (German)
3. The use and credit to archive material from the Staatsarchiv Basel-Stadt is to include a bibliographic reference. This should contain the full shelfmark as well as the name of the archive "Staatsarchiv Basel-Stadt" or its abbreviation "StABS".
4. For the use of reproductions the following legal grounds (German) apply, especially the regulations for the use of digital images as well as for publication fees.
