The manuscript consists of two originally independent parts, which were both written in Lorsch: The main part (fol. 2-168: Hieronymus), as well as the added fragment (fol. 1: Ambrosius), was written in the first half of the 9th century.
The Ambrosius fragment (fol. 1) belongs together with the fragment Oxford, Bodleian Library 130, fol. 1.
