Ps.-Alcuinus (partim Remigius Autissiodorensis); Alcuinus

Sammelhandschrift

Lorsch (?), 1. Hälfte oder Mitte 11. Jh.

The manuscript is ascribed to the Oudalricus-peccator-Group (due to the inscription of a benefactor on fol. 1r).
The fragments on the front and rare pastedown do not derive from Lorsch. The first fragment was written in the 10th/11th century, the second in the 11th century. Their places of origin are unknown.
At the end of the 15th century a Lorsch monk wrote verses of complaint on the condition of his monastery in the left margin of the (present) rare pastedown: O Laurissa, Laurissa, locus et tronus imperialis, quis inter tua primordia credidisset te ad tantam difformitatem peruenire potuisse!
